This certificate provides individuals with an awareness of the skills and techniques required for effective supervision of staff. It provides an introduction to first line management and gives those new to the role the skills and knowledge to make an immediate and positive impact within their job. The certificate has been developed to improve performance and give individuals the confidence to use their newfound skills to tackle motivation, coping with organisational change, team building and other issues that are associated with a supervisory or management role. The programme is structured over six days, 1 day per week for six weeks
