ILM Team Leading qualifications are for those people who are working in formal teams or groups, whether as team leaders/coordinators, or team members. The qualifications are equally suitable for members of self-managed teams. They may work in factories and offices, in hospitals, in call centres and on building sites, in leisure centres and in the armed services. Wherever people and resources are employed, team workers with an ILM Team Leading qualification ensure that they are employed effectively. This certificate provides individuals with the skills, techniques and attitude required for team leading. It gives the core skills required for effective leadership, providing a structured approach to learning with an appreciation of real life management strategies. The certificate has been developed to improve confidence and give individuals the skills and knowledge they need to motivate teams, understand change and lead teams on a daily basis.

• Induction lasting three hours
• Minimum two hours tutorial guidance for assessment
• Four 15-hour modules
• Each module comprises three 3-hour core segments, plus two 3-hour optional segments from a choice of between three and six on offer within each unit

Qualification : All individuals who successfully complete the course will receive a professionally recognised qualification. The Certificate can provide credit against the full Level 3 Certificate in First Line Management as well as providing the specific knowledge and skills for those working towards Level 3 NVQ in management

This course is based at our main engineering training facility, located just off the M1 J34 in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Ideally situated for access from Barnsley, Sheffield, Doncaster or Rotherham.
