This eProgramme is designed to provide the Level 2 - Team Leader management qualification, as awarded by the Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM). It provides the underpinning knowledge for both the Award and the Full Certificate. The Certificate builds on the Award and broadens the skills and knowledge in a flexible and practical way. Candidates are not required to undertake the Award as a pre-requisite and may join Certificate programmes directly. The Level 2 Award in Team Leading aims to give practising or potential team and cell leaders the foundation for their formal development in this role. The qualification does this by developing basic team leading skills and assisting participants in gaining the basic knowledge required at this level.

The Level 2 Certificate in Team Leading aims to give practising or potential team leaders the foundation for their formal development in this role. The qualification does this by developing a wide range of team leading skills and assisting participants in gaining the comprehensive knowledge required by a team leader. A minimum of 22 hours are required for the Award and 65 hours for the Certificate. However to provide a solid foundation of underpinning knowledge the programme contains a total of 76 online study hours. The programme consists of three modules. Completion of Module 1 is for students scheduled for the Award Certificate – whilst completion of all 3 modules is required for students doing the Full Certificate. For corporate clients customized programmes can be provided with a selection from 22 Units that provides best fit with the learning requirement.

• Module 1 – Units covered are:
• 2.01 Developing yourself as a team leader - 7 study hours
• 2.02 Motivating the work team to perform - 7 study hours
• 2.04 Developing the work team - 8 study hours
• Module 2 – Units covered are:
• 2.03 Planning and monitoring work - 10 study hours
• 2.15 Briefing the work team - 6 study hours
• 2.19 Leading your work team - 10 study hours
• Module 3 – Units covered are:
• 2.07 Fulfilling customer requirements - 10 study hours
• 2.08 Providing quality to customers - 9 study hours
• 2.10 Dealing with change in the workplace - 9 study hours
• Assessment for Award Certificate students:
• a Reflective Review for Units 2.01, 2.02
• a Short Answer Questionnaire for Unit 2.04
• Assessment for Full Certificate students:
• The above assessed elements, plus:
• A mini-project covering Units 2.02, 2.03
• An Oral Brief for Unit 2.15
• Short answer questionnaire for Units 2.07, 2.08, 2.10 & 2.19

Qualification :It is for the corporate client, and/or the individual, and the trainer to agree upon the extent of tutor support services required, when booking this course. We offer a wide range of both accredited and non-accredited courses which can be accommodated both directly as e-learning or a blended approach.

This course is based at our main engineering training facility, located just off the M1 J34 in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Ideally situated for access from Barnsley, Sheffield, Doncaster or Rotherham.
