IMechE Scholarships Available!
08 June 2011Each year the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) supports the educational and development needs of students and graduates with scholarships and awards totalling some £400,000. The scholarships can give financial support and encouragement to young students or apprentices who are looking to study engineering and to graduates who are looking to undertake research programmes. Brinsworth Training are delighted to promote this excellent opportunity for further development via IMechE.
Applications are currently being sought for the following scholarships:
Whitworth Scholarship Awards Scheme - (All Engineering Disciplines)
Scholarships available to support engineering apprentices who have recently served at least a 2 year engineering apprenticeship who wish to further their careers by undertaking an engineering degree level programme.
Whitworth Scholarship Awards are available for undergraduate studies normally an MEng or a postgraduate Masters’ course i.e. an MSc and are valued up to £18,000 (normally £4,500 p.a. over 4 years (full-time study), £3,000 p.a. (part-time study) and on a pro-rata basis for sandwich study).
Whitworth Senior Scholarship Awards are also available for postgraduate study for a PhD or EngD degree, which are valued up to £7,500 p.a. for a maximum period of 3 years.
Closing date for applications 30 June 2011.
