Apprenticeship Event Hits The Spot With Employers
14 February 2011Brinsworth Training hosted an Employer Briefing Event on Friday 11th February as part of National Apprenticeship Week. The event was a resounding success with over 50 attendees.
Attendees at the event were given a mixture of presentations highlighting the benefits of recruiting an apprentice and the support available through government funding to develop them through their learning.

Speakers included Peter Aspin from the National Skills Academy for Manufacturing, Matt Miles from QED Consulting, Jon Needham from National Apprenticeship Service and Mick Crossley of Brinsworth Training.
Speaking at the event, Mick Crossley said "We want to make a difference to the engineers of tomorrow and we can only do this by working in partnership with key agencies such as SEMTA, schools and most importantly the employers".
The event was attended by employers such as Gripple, Firth Rixson, Sheffield Forgemasters and concluded by visitors being given a tour of the 30,000 sq ft training facilities at Brinsworth Training Ltd.
