This is a nationally recognised certificate from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health and is intended for anyone with the responsibility of conducting risk assessments. This would include managers, team leaders, technicians or equally any other personnel contributing to the risk assessment process. Under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations (1999) there is a duty on every employer and self-employed person to make a suitable and sufficient assessment of the risks to health and safety in the workplace. A correctly implemented program of risk assessments can assist in the prevention of injuries, fatalities, property damage incidents and other losses.
