This is a nationally recognised certificate from the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health, and used to be known as the CIEH Basic Foundation Certificate. The Certificate in Health & Safety in the Workplace is designed for those working in any business despite their product or service range. It is necessary for all those who have a role that includes a responsibility for the management of health and safety issues to undertake this course, this will give them practical information and advice which will enable employees to ensure that their work activities are carried out safely, by developing, auditing monitoring program’s, designing safe practices and procedures, and establishing risk assessment projects.

• Identifying key hazards in candidates own workplace
• Understanding the importance of health and safety rules and working procedures

Qualification : All successful candidates upon completion will receive the nationally recognised CIEH approved Certificate in Basic Health and Safety

For Your Information : Brinsworth Training recommends that a refresher course is taken every 3 years, one month before the original Certificate expires Brinsworth Training has the flexibility to facilitate your requirements as an organisation or individual Please bring pen and paper and wear comfortable shoes and sensible clothing

This course is based at our main engineering training facility, located just off the M1 J34 in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Ideally situated for access from Barnsley, Sheffield, Doncaster or Rotherham.
