This course is designed to give candidates sufficient knowledge and practice to enable them to write and edit basic programmes competently. Programmable Logic Controllers is intended for people with little or no knowledge of control systems and automation, our tutors have an extensive range of PLC experience, once you have sufficient awareness of the equipment, coupled with knowledge of the installation to be able to diagnose the difficulty and can solve the problem.

• Logic controller principles
• Alan Bradley Softwar
• Interface techniques and OPT isolation
• Use of relay and ladder logic
• Programming procedures
• Clearing RAM
• Writing and monitoring simple programmes
• Editing, re-writing, deleting and inserting
• Use of timers and counters

Qualification : All successful candidates upon completion will receive the Centre Certificate of Competence in programmable logic control plc)

For Your Information : Brinsworth Training has the flexibility to facilitate your requirements as an organisation or individual Please bring pen and paper and wear/bring with you PPE (personal protective equipment) protective clothing, eye wear, gloves etc and steel toecap boots for the workshop activities. Brinsworth can supply if needed hats, gloves and glasses

This course is based at our main engineering training facility, located just off the M1 J34 in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Ideally situated for access from Barnsley, Sheffield, Doncaster or Rotherham.
