The course is designed to increase the flexibility of personnel providing further training in industrial electrical systems and test equipment. It is designed to follow on from EMS PT I or to provide candidates who already have equivalent knowledge and experience with further understanding of motor control principles and practices in industrial maintenance. It aims to ensure that candidates can work safely and competently on electrical installations, AC motors / starters and to improve underpinning electrical knowledge.

• Review of electrical basics and principles
• Three phase motor testing
• Direct on line starting system
• Introduction to relay logic
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and circuit symbols
• Fault finding exercises

Qualification : All successful candidates upon completion will receive the Centre Certificate of competence in Electrical Multi skilling I or Electrical Multi skilling II depending on the course attended

For Your Information : Brinsworth Training has the flexibility to facilitate your requirements as an organisation or individual Please bring pen and paper and wear/bring with you PPE (personal protective equipment) protective clothing, eye wear, gloves etc and steel toecap boots for the workshop activities. Brinsworth can supply if needed hats, gloves and glasses

This course is based at our main engineering training facility, located just off the M1 J34 in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Ideally situated for access from Barnsley, Sheffield, Doncaster or Rotherham.
