This is a highly practical training course designed to increase the flexibility of Mechanical Maintenance personnel by providing hands-on training in industrial electrical systems and test equipment. It is primarily designed to ensure candidates can safely undertake fundamental industrial Electrical work, of which there is now a greater demand for maintenance personnel to be Multi Skilled.

• Health and safety electrical legislation
• Electrical principles
• Isolation procedures
• AC distribution system (single and three phases)
• Practical test equipment use (digital multimeters, voltage testers, insulation testers)
• Earthing requirements
• Protective devices

This course is based at our main engineering training facility, located just off the M1 J34 in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Ideally situated for access from Barnsley, Sheffield, Doncaster or Rotherham.
