Brinsworth Training has the flexibility to facilitate your requirements as an organisation or individual Please bring pen and paper and wear/bring with you PPE (personal protective equipment) protective clothing, eye wear, gloves etc and steel toecap boots for the workshop activities. Brinsworth can supply if needed hats, gloves and glasses

This course is based at our main engineering training facility, located just off the M1 J34 in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Ideally situated for access from Barnsley, Sheffield, Doncaster or Rotherham.

This is a nationally accredited course and is designed for candidates who are required to conduct Portable Appliance Testing. The person undertaking the testing must be competent to inspect & test an electrical appliance in order to determine if it is safe to use based on the inspection and test results. Our comprehensive PAT testing training courses, includes details of legislation, electrical shock, burn and fire hazards, user checks, formal visual inspections, combined inspection and testing, construction of Class I, II & III portable electrical appliances, fuse ratings, electrical plugs, testing computers, ICT / IT equipment, power tools, IEC cords & extension leads. The PAT training course also include record keeping, test results and labelling with PASS and FAIL PAT Testing labels
