This course is designed to give candidates an understanding and primary knowledge with adequate practice’s to enable them to undertake basic wiring techniques competently and safely. This course involves information for anyone working in the Electrical Installation and the Electrical Maintenance industry.

• Induction
• Types of cables
• Identifying various industrial plugs
• Use of multi-meters to locate and identify faulty cables
• Armoured cable gland fitting
• Disconnection and reconnection of cables to Electrical equipment
• Single wire armoured cable installation exercise

Qualification : All successful candidates upon completion will receive the Centre Certificate of Competence in Basic Wiring Techniques

For Your Information : Brinsworth Training has the flexibility to facilitate your requirements as an organisation or individual Please bring pen and paper and wear/bring with you PPE (personal protective equipment) protective clothing, eye wear, gloves etc and steel toecap boots for the workshop activities. Brinsworth can supply if needed hats, gloves and glasses

This course is based at our main engineering training facility, located just off the M1 J34 in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Ideally situated for access from Barnsley, Sheffield, Doncaster or Rotherham.
