This course is a nationally recognised course overseen by the Qualifications Curriculum Authority for anyone wishing to achieve an NVQ assessor Qualification. The course is delivered by fully qualified Instructor/Assessors with years of experience in the area of NVQ delivery and assessment ensuring that the most up to date information is provided. To qualify to become an NVQ assessor the individual must be able to prove that they hold relevant qualifications in the areas they wish to assess, demonstrate they have a practical experience in those fields and an understanding of the NVQ systems.

• NVQ Framework familiarisation
• The assessment process
• Roles and responsibilities of the Internal Verifier
• The TDLB assessor Qualification
• Assessor registration with Awarding Body
• PROJECT:
• Building a portfolio of evidence
• 3 MENTORSHIP/ASSESSMENT VISITS INCLUDE:
• Up to three monthly visits to assist the Internal Verifier candidate in developing their portfolio
• Final assessment and Internal Verification
• Certification and awarding body
• Registration with Approved Assessment Centre (if required)

Qualification : All successful candidates upon completion will receive the EAL Certificate in A1 Assessing using a range of methods

This course is based at our main engineering training facility, located just off the M1 J34 in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. Ideally situated for access from Barnsley, Sheffield, Doncaster or Rotherham.
